Who we are

This website is run by Sentinel Cloud Service ("Sentinel", "we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy through "Talk with Sentinel" on this website.

This policy covers this website. It does not cover the LAMINATE platform itself, which is used under a separate agreement with your organisation (see "Patient and study data" below).

What we collect and why

• Requests and messages. When you use "Talk with Sentinel" or the demo form, we collect your name, work email, organisation, the topic you chose and your message. We use it to reply to you and to arrange a conversation.
• Bookings. When you book a time, we collect your name, email, optionally a phone number, your time zone, and the time you chose. We use it to hold the appointment and to contact you about it.
• Job applications. When you apply, we collect your name, email, phone number, the area you are interested in, your CV and, if you add one, your cover letter, links to your work and your message, and your consent. The files are stored privately in our content management system and can only be opened by people at Sentinel who handle applications. We use it to consider your application and to contact you about it.
• Visit information. If you accept analytics, we collect how the site is used (pages viewed, the device and browser type, the approximate region, and whether you opened or submitted a form). We never send what you type into a form to analytics. If you only accept essential cookies, we do not collect this.
• Technical information. Our servers briefly use your IP address to limit repeated form submissions. It is held in server memory for that purpose only and is not stored with your request. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security.

Legal bases

• To answer your request or take steps you ask for before an agreement: your request, booking or application.
• Consent: analytics cookies and similar tools. You can withdraw consent at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer.
• Our legitimate interests: keeping the site secure, preventing abuse, and understanding in general terms how it is used where this is allowed without consent.
• Legal obligations, where they apply.

Who receives your data

We use service providers who process data for us under agreements with us:

• Wix, which hosts our content management, booking and form data.
• Google, for website analytics, only if you accept analytics.
• Our hosting provider, which hosts this website.

We do not sell your personal data.

Where your data is processed

Our service providers may process data in other countries than yours. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, for example standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, and then delete or anonymise it. In general:

• Requests, messages and bookings are kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable time afterwards.
• Job applications, including the CV and cover letter you attach, are kept while we consider your application and for a limited time after the role is filled, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Analytics data is kept for the period set in our analytics account.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for access to your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. To use these rights, contact us through "Talk with Sentinel" on this website. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Patient and study data

This website is not meant for patient data. Please do not send us images or patient information through the forms.

The LAMINATE platform is used under a separate agreement. In that setting:

• Studies that arrive through the on-site gateway have patient identifiers replaced with a pseudonym, study dates shifted and private tags removed before anything leaves your network. The original identity stays at your site.
• Archives uploaded in the browser are de-identified when they are ingested.
• Data in the cloud is pseudonymized, not anonymous.
• Text burned into image pixels is not removed, so scanners should be set up so that none is added.

LAMINATE is intended for research and educational use. It is not FDA-approved and should not be used for clinical diagnosis, treatment decisions or patient care.

Children

This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change matters to how we use your data, we will say so on the site.
